Business Etiquette: Professional Presence

Professional presence is the ability to let conduct carry the same weight as expertise. This offering considers the everyday interactions through which working relationships and organizational standards become visible.

Designed for individuals, teams, and organizations, the work is tailored to professional responsibilities and setting. Areas of focus may include introductions, professional correspondence, meeting conduct and leadership, online-meeting etiquette, client hospitality, and representing an organization at external events.

Selected workplace situations provide opportunities to review correspondence, practice introductions, and rehearse meeting or hosting responsibilities. Attention is given to clarity, tone, timing, seniority, and the judgment needed to adapt one’s manner without losing credibility.

Offered as focused modules or a more extended program, the work supports clear communication, sound relationships, and considered professional representation.

Networking & Interpersonal Skills

Networking is about building professional relationships, not simply collecting contacts. This offering helps clients approach conferences, receptions, and other professional gatherings with greater ease and a clearer sense of how to participate.

The work considers beginning and sustaining conversations, joining and leaving groups, making introductions, and recognizing opportunities to connect people thoughtfully. Conversation practice allows participants to try different approaches and develop language that feels natural rather than rehearsed.

Attention is also given to what follows an initial meeting: writing a relevant follow-up, staying in touch, respecting another person’s time, and making introductions with discretion. Clients develop practical ways to build relationships through genuine interest and thoughtful continuity.
